About Marc Keelan-Bishop
Marc Keelan-Bishop’s studio is exactly 17 steps from the coffee pot, and faces the beautiful Bay of Quinte in Prince Edward County, Ontario, Canada. His bright, crisp art has graced many posters, as well as magazines, books, video games and all corners of the internet. He’s also the creator of the popular series County Posters and 400 years of francophone rebels in Ontario.
With life-long experience as an artist and post-secondary training as a journalist, he’s crafted a career focused on communicating complex information with revelatory illustrations and distilled language.
His first grown-up illustration gig was at TVOntario, where he was responsible for creating the first iteration of the award-winning TVOKids.com web site. Since then, Marc has been seen around the halls of the CBC, Dairy Farmers of Canada, Tumblebooks and the The Hospital for Sick Children.
Marc’s illustrations have dolled up five french-language chapter books for kids 8-12, all by Mireille Messier: Une Twiga à Ottawa, Déclic à Toronto, Coupe et soucoupe à Sudbury, Coup de théâtre à Stratford, and the latest, Embrouilles à Embrun.
